Everett Farmers Market Opens – Mother Day – May 10, 2015

Come one, come all, and join us in the celebration of local seasonal produce and fine foods, and a great selection of artistry at the Sunday Everett Farmers Markets!

The Everett Farmers Market extends a hearty “Welcome” to Everett & the greater Snohomish County Community and beyond! The Sunday Market, in its 22nd year, is at the Port of Everett, Waterfront Place, and opens Mother’s Day, May 10, with hours of 11 am to 4 pm.

Join us too at the Friday Farmers Market Everett Mall as we connect urban living with your hard-working local farmers. Hours here are 3 pm to 7 pm. Celebrate Opening Day with us on Friday, June 12.

The Port is in the midst of the large new development, Waterfront Place, http://www.portofeverett.com/real-estate/waterfront-place-coming-to-market-soon working mainly on new underground utilities and the north parking lot bulkhead. Be watchful for Port signage in the construction zones. Parking for the Market is somewhat the same as last year, but do watch for Port Security Staff to direct you to Market parking areas throughout the 2015 Season.

Give Mom flowersan amazing bouquet of beautiful fresh flowers; let her sample delicious baked goods, and take home a variety of value-added prepared foods to supplement your kitchen. And of course, treat her and the family to a fabulous brunch, lunch or the fixins for an extra special dinner. Sample local wines, and find that special gift from the fine selection of local artisans, a group of talented local entrepreneurs who bring you an incredible variety of arts and crafts each Friday and Sunday. This year, at least twenty new artists will display their latest creations throughout the Market Season.

So bring Mom, and the whole family for a great day of reconnecting with a fine selection of Washington grown, farm-fresh, nutritious, and seasonal fruits and vegetables. We’ll get started with many of our farmers, but some will not join us until June when berries, cherries and a wider variety of produce are ready for harvest.

New too are certified organic Rabbit Fields Farm, and Terra Verde Farm. Come check out their fine produce on Sundays. The EFM will also introduce handcrafted meats by Jack Mountain Meats, and Brittle Barn Farms, organically fed, free range poultry and fresh eggs.

Sample wine from White Heron Cellars and Lopez Island Vineyards all through the month of May, and visit us any Friday at the Mall for White Heron wine as well. Jack Mountain Meats will join us on Fridays too, and later in the season, the Friday Market will have fresh and smoked salmon available.
